Welcome Day for International Master’s Programmes

We warmly invites all new students enrolled in the international master’s programmes EuroMPM, ESE and MDT to the official Welcome Day on 1 October 2026.

The Welcome Day marks the beginning of your studies and gives you the opportunity to meet your fellow students and the people who will support you throughout your programme. You will be welcomed by representatives of the Rectorate and meet members of the International Master’s Team, including the programme directors and programme management teams, as well as representatives of the International Office and other university services.

During the day, you will also get to know the campus and its facilities and receive important information about your programme, university services and student life at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

9:30–11:00 | Central Welcome Event for all International Master’s Programmes
(EuroMPM, ESE and MDT)

• Welcome address by the Rectorate
• Introduction to the International Master’s Team
• Overview of the international master’s degree programmes
   

11:00–13:00 | Welcome Session with the International Office

• Introduction to the International Career Service
• Introduction to Social Counselling by Aleksandra Wojciechowska
• Step-by-step guidance on registering your residence with the local authorities
   

13:00–14:30 | Lunch Break

From 14:30 | Programme-Specific Welcome Sessions

Each international master’s programme will hold a separate welcome session:
