New chapter, new friends, new city

We warmly invite all new students enrolled in the international master’s programs EuroMPM, ESE, and MDT to the official Welcome Day on October 1, 2026.

Welcome Day marks the start of your studies and gives you the opportunity to meet your fellow students and the people who will support you throughout your program. You will be welcomed by representatives of the Rector’s Office and meet members of the International Master’s Team, including the program directors and program management teams, as well as representatives of the International Office and other university services.

During the day, you will also get to know the campus and its facilities and receive important information about your program, university services, and student life at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

Programs

9:30–11:00 | Central Welcome Event for all International Master’s Programs
(EuroMPM, ESE, and MDT)

  • Welcome address by the Rectorate
  • Introduction to the International Master’s Team
  • Overview of the international master’s degree programs

11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. | Welcome Session with the International Office

  • Introduction to the International Career Service
  • Introduction to Social Counseling by Aleksandra Wojciechowska
  • Step-by-step guidance on registering your residence with the local authorities

1:00–2:30 p.m. | Lunch Break

Starting at 14:30 | Program-Specific Welcome Sessions

Each international master’s program will hold a separate welcome session:

  • M.A. European Master in Project Management (EuroMPM) | EFS 44, Room 1.36
  • M.Eng. Embedded Systems Engineering (ESE) | EF42 Room A.1.02
  • M.Sc. Digital Transformation (MDT) | EF42, Room A.1.02
