Information
On March 14 and 15, 2026, the Maker Faire Ruhr at the DASA Arbeitswelt exhibition in Dortmund will once again invite visitors to marvel, participate and discover. Under the motto "Touch, try, do it yourself", creative people, inventors and technology enthusiasts of all ages will meet there to present their projects and ideas relating to crafts, science and technology.
Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts is also represented on site: Fachhochschule Dortmund's FabLab will show how students and researchers use state-of-the-art 3D printers, laser cutters and microcontrollers to transform creative concepts into tangible prototypes. SQuArE presents technologies and projects that combine science and practice in new ways - from interactive applications to sustainable technology solutions.
The Maker Faire Ruhr thus offers an exciting opportunity to get to know the diverse activities of Fachhochschule Dortmund and to talk to students and staff yourself.
