Information
For the third time in a row, Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts is bringing together representatives of initiatives and aid and social organizations: The Conference of Social Responsibility at the DEPOT cultural venue offers space for exchange, cooperation and new ideas.
"Commitment thrives on cohesion and a strong network is the basis for sustainable offerings," says Sebastian Kreimer, Head of the Sustainability Office (CSR Office) at Fachhochschule Dortmund. Together with his team, he initiated the conference in 2023.
The core elements of the conference are the workshop on campus-community partnerships, i.e. methods to strengthen transfer, and an Institute for Higher Education Didactics on St. Paul's Church. The aim is to develop ideas on how the church on Schützenstraße can be put to good use by aid organizations.
"With the conference, we want to support the work of Dortmund's initiatives and aid organizations and offer a platform to exchange ideas with each other and with cooperation partners," says Sebastian Kreimer. That's why there will also be plenty of time and space for discussions during the event.
Interested citizens, researchers and students who want to engage with the topic of social responsibility are also invited.
