About the person

As a professor, I teach and conduct research in the field of social participation and inclusion. The focus is on social work in the context of people with disabilities/chronic illnesses as well as young people and families with social disadvantages. In addition to counseling and conducting conversations, my professional and voluntary work focuses on methodological approaches through movement, play and sport, especially psychomotor skills.

As part of academic self-administration, I am an elected member of the Faculty Council of Applied Social Studies and module coordinator of the Educational Sciences and Ethics module (W06) in the Social Work study program.

In my role as representative for students with disabilities/chronic illnesses, I counsel students with disabilities/chronic illnesses from the following faculties:

  • Applied Social Sciences
  • design
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Mechanical Engineering

Counseling takes place by telephone or video conference (Teams). You can book an individual appointment via the link on the top right.

Students of the Faculties of Architecture, Business Studies and Computer Science receive counseling from the Central Student Advisory Services (ZSB) team. Please send requests for this to: inklusionfh-dortmundde
