Employees of Fachhochschule Dortmund handed over parcels containing everyday necessities and small surprises to the station mission. At Christmas, they will be given to people in need as practical life support.

Socks, shower gel, rain jackets, handkerchiefs, thermal mugs, nail clippers, rucksacks: people in acute emergencies urgently need things like these. People who have been robbed, who have suddenly fallen ill while traveling or who are affected by poverty, homelessness or addiction problems. Using a list of needs from the Fachhochschule Dortmund station mission, FH employees bought enough for 48 gift packages - each worth around 20 euros - and wrapped them up for Christmas.

A delegation from Fachhochschule Dortmund has now handed over the festively wrapped boxes to the station mission at Dortmund Central Station.
