Information

Workshop participants learn about the principles of the digital world in a playful way.

What exactly is computer science, algorithms and programming? What role do these areas play in everyday life and what specific applications are there? A two-day crash course at Fachhochschule Dortmund enables students to explore the answers in a fun way.

The crash course offers insights and experiments in the world of IT.

On April 15 and 16, 2025, participants will immerse themselves in four exciting modules dealing with networking, artificial intelligence, programming and algorithms. Whether it's an escape room, tricky challenges in the computer game Minecraft or creative solutions with the "senseBox" measuring station - the course offers interactive insights and practical experiments.

The offer from the Institute for the Digital Transformation of Application and Living Domains (IDiAL) at Fachhochschule Dortmund is aimed at students in grades 5 to 10 (10 to 16 years old) from all types of schools. Participation is free of charge.
