Introductory event for joint degree programs in Business Informatics (part-time)

Target group of this event

The introductory event of the joint degree programs in Business Informatics on Saturday, 13.09.2025, is only for students of the (part-time) joint degree programs in Business Informatics, which are offered in cooperation with the TH Köln.

If you are enrolled in the face-to-face or full-time degree program in Business Informatics, you will take part in the general introductory events of the Faculty of Computer Science and the Computer Science Student Council, which in turn are not aimed at joint students.

Information on the introductory event

The introductory event for the joint degree programs in Business Informatics (Bachelor's and Master's) is held together with the Institute for Joint Studies NRW (IfV NRW) and takes place online via the video conferencing software Zoom. You should receive the access data in an invitation from the Office for Student Affairs after enrollment (otherwise please contact us).

For Bachelor's students, the introductory event will take place from 9:00 to approx. 13:00

For Master's students, the introductory event takes place from 11:30 to 16:00.

In the introductory event, you will receive information about the study program and the special features of our study program. You will get to know your fellow students in small groups and take part in a workshop on learning strategies for a part-time combined degree program with regard to time and work management and methods of effective learning.
