Information
On the occasion of the "Digital Week Dortmund", lectures on digital twins will shed light on urban systems, including traffic, energy supply, environmental monitoring and smart neighborhoods, as well as the associated measurement and transmission methods of sensor data and their processing with edge/cloud computing.
The topics of data integration and modelling as well as the visualization of the collected data and user interactions are presented. With the help of semantic description (web-of-things), control by AI systems will be discussed.
The smart mobility lecture shows how intelligent detection technologies contribute to increasing road safety in urban environments.
Overview of the presentation topics:
- Digital Twin for mobility management
- Digital twin for smart buildings with IoT edge/cloud computing
- Smart mobility in the smart city
During the tour of the smart mobility and smart building labs, participants can experience live demos and discuss collaboration, for example in connection with cooperation projects.
Prof. Dr. Ingo Kunold, Prof. Dr. Hugues Tchouankem and research assistant Tobias Uhlich from the Faculty of Information Technology will be taking part.
Participation is free of charge, but registration(Opens in a new tab) is required.
