Abstract
This study explores sustainability integration in International Non-Governmental Organizations INGO-managed projects. Through thematic analysis of the stakeholder interviews, it highlights strategies like capacity building, environmental-economic alignment, and gender-sensitive approaches to foster local ownership. Key post-project strategies include public-private partnerships and income generation for financial self-resilience. Challenges like short-term funding, local capacity gaps, and bureaucratic hurdles necessities diversified funding and stronger local collaboration. The findings emphasize adaptive strategies, long-term planning, and partnerships to extend project impact, offering actionable insights for sustainable development Projects.
