Sustainable together - May / June / July 2025

The HRK pilot audit "Sustainability at universities"

The German Rectors' Conference (HRK) has launched a new project that specifically promotes sustainability at German universities. We are proud that Fachhochschule Dortmund has been selected as one of four universities for the pilot phase of the "Sustainability at Universities" audit!

The aim of the audit is to develop a comprehensive sustainability strategy - structured, practical and with the participation of all university members.

🌾 Seed library @ MOP - sowing diversity, harvesting the future

A complete success: our new seed library at the Max-Ophüls-Platz location!

Tomatoes, lettuce, beans or peas - here you can borrow seeds, plant them, harvest them ... and then return new seeds. This creates a sustainable cycle that contributes to the preservation of biodiversity and passes on old gardening knowledge.
