Important information
Your Learning Agreement
- This module overview shows the entire choice of courses for international exchange students (Bachelor level) offered at Fachhochschule Dortmund in English or bilingual English/ German for your learning agreement.
- Please be aware that this list is tentative and might be subject to change. If this should occur, we are happy to assist in finding alternative solutions.
- Please note that the workload and therefore the number of ECTS for a module might vary according to the requirement of your host university.
Selection of modules
- All exchange students will be enrolled in one single study program at Fachhochschule Dortmund corresponding to the study program of their home university and the respective exchange agreement (i.e. “Computer Science”).
- Some modules can only be selected by exchange students from the specific study program that they are enrolled in (all modules in the list marked with a “lock" symbol)
- All modules shown under “open modules from other study programs” are open to be selected by exchange students across all faculties.
- However, the majority of the modules (at least more than 50%) should be selected from the study program you are enrolled in.
- Our faculties and thus the courses for the respective study programs are spread over three campus locations in Dortmund (Öffnet in einem neuen Tab) (SON, EFS, MOP). If you want to choose courses from our different campus locations, please be aware of the transfer time between our campus locations of around 20-30 minutes.
Subject-related eligibility and other prerequisites
- For some modules, certain subject-specific previous knowledge has to be fulfilled. If you are interested in taking one of these modules, please get in touch with the contact person for your faculty.
- Some of the modules offered cross-faculty are only able to take a limited number of students from other faculties on. Therefore, it might be possible in some cases that you have to choose an alternative module.
