For the Faculty of Computer Science, networking in civil society, cooperation with Business Studies and research partnerships at regional, national and international level are of great importance.
As a faculty with a strong research focus, we are a recognized cooperation partner for a wide range of projects.
Cooperation with Business Studies plays a very important role in our teaching:
- We offer the two Bachelor's degree programs in Business Informatics and Medical Informatics with the option of an internship semester
- We cooperate very closely with companies in the region in the dual study programs Computer Science Dual and Medical Informatics Dual
- The majority of final theses at the faculty are written in cooperation with companies
- Guest lectures by industry representatives are a regular part of many modules
- We cooperate with schools both in the area of teacher training and in events for schoolgirls
The faculty participates in activities such as Girls' Day, the DHT (Dortmund University Days) and the Dortmund Digital Week.
