Donations for the Deutschlandstipendium

Students on campus

Giving talents opportunities - Support our students

The Deutschlandstipendium at Fachhochschule Dortmund supports high-achieving students from all disciplines with €300 per month for a period of one year (total funding amount €3,600). The aim is to support young, committed people on their educational path and to strengthen them in their personal development. In addition to the financial support, the non-material support of the scholarship holders is therefore also an important component of the program.

In addition to academic performance, social commitment, social criteria and obstacles in the educational biography are also taken into account when selecting scholarship holders.

Half of the scholarships are funded by the federal government (Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space) and half by private supporters, companies, foundations and associations.
Individuals can also participate in a jointly financed Deutschlandstipendium through donations.

Your donation works

You too can donate an amount of your choice for a jointly financed Deutschlandstipendium. Every donation helps us to create more scholarship places to support our students: Because recognizing their achievements motivates them to pursue their path. In times of rising costs, the financial relief allows students to concentrate on their academic goals. The Deutschlandstipendium also opens doors to valuable contacts and qualifications.

Every donation counts twice

We collect all donations in the account of the Fachhochschule Dortmund. If the amount of € 1,800 is reached, the federal government doubles the donation and a Germany Scholarship worth € 3,600 can be awarded for the duration of one year. 100% of your donation will be used for a Deutschlandstipendium.

Successful Christmas fundraising campaign "Simple commitment, double the impact"

Our first fundraising campaign has already been a complete success: alumni and employees of Fachhochschule Dortmund donated the first €1,800 for the Deutschlandstipendium at our university, meaning that we will be able to award an additional scholarship in the new funding year from October 2026.

We are very pleased about this joint commitment and would like to thank you very much for your support!

Achieving more together

We cordially invite you to continue to participate in our fundraising efforts. Every contribution enables us to create more scholarship places so that more students can benefit from this support. Your support promotes educational opportunities and strengthens our community.

For me, the Deutschlandstipendium not only means financial support, but also recognition for my achievements and the time I have invested in my studies so far. I would like to thank you for the support and the contacts I have made as a result. I can only recommend everyone to take advantage of this opportunity.
