Promoting top performance, securing skilled workers

Fachhochschule Dortmund supports talented students by awarding Germany Scholarships. These are jointly funded by the federal government (Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space) and private sponsors such as companies, foundations, associations and private individuals.

In addition to academic performance, social commitment, social criteria and obstacles in the educational biography are also taken into account when selecting scholarship holders.

The aim is to accompany young, committed people on their educational path and to encourage them in their personal development. In addition to financial support, the non-material support of the scholarship holders is therefore also an important component of the program.

Donate a Deutschlandstipendium - make contacts early on

In a large room, several people are standing at tables and chatting.

You can sponsor a scholarship for the duration of one year with just €150 per month. The federal government doubles this amount, so that students benefit from monthly funding of €300 (total funding amount €3,600).

As a sponsor, you become part of a network of academia, Business Studies and civil society. Companies in particular have the opportunity to get to know potential young talent and present themselves as an attractive employer. You specifically support high-performing students from disciplines that suit your company. The official start of each funding year is October 1 and the end of the funding year is September 30.

Right to have a say: You can express your wishes and support students in a particular subject area or study program of your choice.
Invitation to the scholarship ceremony: You will receive an invitation to the annual scholarship ceremony, which usually takes place in November. At this festive get-together, you will get to know "your" scholarship holders personally.
Non-material support: In addition to financial support, you can also offer your own supporting program for the students and provide insights into your work. Fachhochschule Dortmund also provides non-material support for the scholarship holders, e.g. through workshops, excursions or company visits.
Use of the sponsorship logo: We provide you with the Deutschlandstipendium logo, which you can use to draw attention to your social commitment.
Tax advantage: Your financial support can be claimed as a special expense for tax purposes.
