Information

The Faculty of Applied Social Studies(Opens in a new tab)  provided academic support to the Coordination Office for so-called “system-breakers” in Dortmund(Opens in a new tab) . The presentation of the evaluation results will take place on Thursday, September 3, 2026, and all interested parties are cordially invited to attend.

A Focus on Decision-Making Processes

The research focused primarily on decision-making processes in complex and system-challenging assistance scenarios, the reconstruction of conditions and attribution processes, and an assessment of the impact orientation of the project’s implemented structures.

Presentation of the Coordination Office and Discussion of the Results

The event is intended to introduce the Coordination Office as a structural response to a structural challenge; in particular, the evaluation results will be presented in detail during the event. Furthermore, we look forward to a professional exchange with project participants, researchers, and all interested parties.

Representatives from the City of Dortmund and other institutions and organizations entrusted with providing complex support services, as well as policy makers, are also invited, which should foster a very engaging exchange.

The event will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Nicole Knuth(Opens in a new tab) . Advance registration is not required.
