The Faculty of Business Studies at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts is hosting a panel discussion on the topic of "Franco-German Organizations in Focus: Power, Culture, Negotiation". The meeting point is on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 6 p.m. on the Emil-Figge-Straße campus in House 38b, Room 003.

Participants in the discussion will be Patrice Pélissier, Honorary Consul of France in Germany, and business administration professor Dr. Claus Vormann from Fachhochschule Dortmund. The moderator will be Christophe Peyrani, lecturer in Business French at the FH.

Various aspects will be considered: These include the training of elites and staff as well as their impact on hierarchical relationships. It also looks at the experience of hierarchical relationships within companies. Corporate culture and its similarities depending on the company profile (start-up, SME, large company) will also be examined. In addition, the panelists want to compare the negotiation cultures and experiences with hierarchical relationships between companies. And finally, the different approaches to hierarchical relationships in politics will come into focus.

The one-hour discussion, which will be held in German, will be followed by a half-hour debate with the audience. Participation is free of charge and possible without registration.
