A warm welcome to the Faculty of Architecture at Fachhochschule Dortmund, University of Applied Sciences and Arts,
Welcome to the 6-semester Bachelor’s program in Architecture!
The semester begins on September 1, 2026, but classes for you will start on September 28, 2026, with Freshman Orientation Week.
We’ve put together a varied program for you that will allow you to get to know the faculty, the lecturers, and your fellow students.

To ensure you get off to a good start in your first semester, we will register you for all first-semester courses.
Once you’re registered for the courses, you’re automatically registered for the corresponding exams.
So you don’t have to worry about anything for now.
You can withdraw from the exams until October 31, 2026! This gives you plenty of time to check whether you can complete the modules during the winter semester.
