Information for pupils

Choosing the right study program is not easy. There is a wide range on offer and many questions remain unanswered. Don't worry: together we can do it. Let's get started.

"How do I find my study program?"

Magdalena Hörsken works in the Central Student Advisory Services (ZSB). She specializes in questions about the transition from school to university. In this 10-minute video, she gives tips and tricks for successful student orientation.

What makes deciding on a study program so difficult? There are only a few decisions that have a serious impact on your later life. Choosing a degree course is one such decision.

Curious? In small group workshops, the Student Advisory Service team offers help in choosing the right study program. Interests, abilities, personal values and wishes are explored together. There is also information on how to apply and enrol. The workshops are digital and free of charge.

Register at the e-mail address schule-hochschulefh-dortmundde. Registrations will be collected until there are about 7 interested people. We will then look for a suitable date together. Important: A working webcam is required for the workshop.

The workshop also takes place regularly on the Open Day (always at the beginning of summer): www.fh-dortmund.de/infotag(Opens in a new tab)  and further insights can be found in our media center for study orientation(Opens in a new tab)
