Bachelor of Business Informatics - Desirable knowledge and skills

You should be interested in the following school subjects and perform well in them:

• Mathematics
• Computer science
• German & English

Knowledge of English is necessary, as specialist literature and articles are often written in English. In addition, project groups are usually international in composition and technical and negotiation discussions are conducted using technical English.

Language skills in relation to:

• Listening to and understanding simple texts
• Reading and understanding simple texts
• Speaking, i.e. communicating in simple, routine situations
• Being able to write simple texts

• PC skills
  • Basic knowledge of common Office programs for word processing, spreadsheets and presentation creation is helpful. Further knowledge, e.g. knowledge of programming languages, is not required.
