What is it about?
Internationalization, networking and complexity in Business Studies are constantly evolving. As a result, the demands on corporate governance and management are increasing. General management is an indispensable part of successful companies, regardless of industry, size and location. The Master's degree program in Business Management teaches leadership and management skills with a special focus on internationalization, technological change and sustainability.
Profile of the study program
Business Management deals with questions such as:
- How can companies manage the challenges of internationalization responsibly?
- Which control and management tools are important for managing companies successfully?
- What opportunities are there to combine economic success and ecological sustainability?
Projects and practice in the broad spectrum of national and international management
The four-semester course is international, project and practice-oriented. The streams General Management & Entrepreneurship, Digital Supply Chain Management, Human Resources & Project Management and International Management and Sustainability qualify you for management tasks with a broad requirements profile that covers the entire value chain and, depending on the stream chosen, explicitly emphasizes activities in selected areas of the company. Important components include management responsibility and management tools as well as preparation for tasks in multinational companies. Multicultural and international aspects of business administration and corporate management are given special consideration.
You will regularly develop new knowledge independently in small groups and thus train to work in teams and develop solutions independently - using numerous learning methods. You will give lectures and presentations, actively participate in business simulations and complete group work and case studies.
The third semester is a study abroad or internship semester in which you can either apply the knowledge you have acquired in practice or test it abroad.
Master of Arts that prepares you for senior management positions
After successfully completing the program, you will be awarded a Master of Arts (M. A.) degree. You will acquire the professional, methodological, social and leadership skills you need to master strategic and international challenges.
