Content

On October 15, the exhibition "Experimental Type 3.0" opened at the Johanna Ey Foundation in Düsseldorf - a presentation of experimental works from the EXPERIMENTAL TYPE seminar.

As part of Andreas Ruhe and Prof. Lars Harmsen's course at Fachhochschule Dortmund, design students have developed projects that understand experimentation and research as a design principle. Mistakes, breaks and unexpected processes were deliberately used as part of the creative experiment. The result: a series of unconventional poster designs that explore the boundaries of typographic design and reveal the diversity of contemporary design approaches. Many of the works shown have also been published in the current volume "Experimental Type 3.0" by Slanted Publishers.
