It takes time. It doesn't pay. Paper is heavy and kills trees. Bookstores vanish. Libraries are now backdrops for café-latte pseudo-intellectuals.

Versus: Publishing a book or magazine is an achievement. A chance to share ideas, stories, and expertise. It fulfills. It opens doors.

When Lars Harmsen started Slanted.de in 2004, no one knew that one day, beyond two magazines per year, up to 10 to 15 publications would be released annually. His talk dives into 20 years of ups and downs-raw takes on design, distribution, and sidekicks.
