"Ethics, Aesthetics & AI: Creativity and Art in the Age of Machine Intelligence"

Cinenova / Hall 1
Jenifer Becker, Pamela C. Scorzin
A new wave of films, images and texts created with generative AI tools raises more than just legal questions or practical challenges. Deeply rooted in the rise of content and art created by and with neural networks lies a central question: what part of the creation process is uniquely human? How will artificial intelligence affect our sense of aesthetics and beauty? And what can we learn from other interdisciplinary exchanges?
With fresh perspectives from literature, music and art, this panel aims to penetrate the questions that arise from different areas where technology meets human creativity.
