Content

This book offers a lean and accessible introduction to calculus. A good 100 fully calculated examples, around 50 exercises with solutions and around 40 small self-tests with answers make it easy to get to grips with the subject. The whole thing is rounded off by around 80 sketches in the text as well as an interactive pdf tool available online for generating random problems including solutions.

The book is aimed at students in degree programs with compulsory mathematical courses at undergraduate level at universities and universities of applied sciences. It is ideally suited both as supplementary reading for corresponding lectures and for self-study.
