International BIP Summer School "Space as a tool for Education"
This September, the Faculty of Architecture, together with the Technical University of Brno, Czech Republic, and Vilnius TECH, Lithuania, is once again organizing a summer school(Opens in a new tab) on the topic of educational architecture. Under the title "Space as a Tool for Education", the project will focus on spaces that specifically support and stimulate learning and can be used for independent learning outside the classroom. As a didactic tool, the architecturally designed space offers numerous starting points for comprehensive and inclusive teaching as well as intuitive learning. In the workshop, the group will undertake excursions and develop proposals for the redesign of the spatial conditions at an existing mainstream school, which should provide impetus for the restructuring of the local educational environment. The project continues the already successful cooperation between the three partner universities. The workshop is supported and funded by Erasmus+.

Further announcements and news
- Erasmus+ project year 2025/26 starts with a significantly increased budget - including travel grants for students for the first time
The new Erasmus+ project year(Opens in a new tab) begins in the winter semester 2025/26 with a total budget of around €780,000. This is over €100,000 more than in the previous year - a welcome increase that will directly benefit the participants.
For the first time, the budget will also cover travel costs for students on long-term stays abroad. For example, anyone traveling by plane to Spain for a study visit will receive a one-off travel allowance of €309. Even more attractive is the support for so-called "green trips" - i.e. arrivals and departures by environmentally friendly means of transport such as train, bus, boat or carpooling. The subsidy for a green trip to France is as much as €417. The application phase for remaining places in the summer semester 2026 runs from 01.06. to 01.09.2025.
Staff mobility will also continue to be funded with an increasing budget.
