Just before Christmas, Chancellor Jochen Drescher presented 150 gifts to Fatma Karacakurtoglu, Chairwoman of the refugee aid association Train of Hope Dortmund, on behalf of Fachhochschule Dortmund.

The association had asked refugee children for their wishes and passed them on to the perspective management team at Fachhochschule Dortmund. Many employees of the UAS responded to the call of the perspective management, bought the desired toys and gave them to the perspective management.

Train of Hope has now received these gifts and will use them to fulfill the children's wishes for the festive season.
