Partner universities within the DHIK network
Fachhochschule Dortmund is a member of the German University Consortium for International Cooperation (DHIK)(Opens in a new tab) , an association of 38 universities that jointly carry out exchange and double degree programs with foreign universities in applied engineering sciences.
There is currently cooperation with Tongji University in Shanghai, China, and in Mexico with the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, the Universidad de las Américas Puebla in Puebla and the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán in Merida. There is also a cooperation with the PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, India via theIndo-German Center For Higher Education (IGCHE)(Opens in a new tab) consortium.

The further development and expansion of strategic international networking is one of the central goals of Fachhochschule Dortmund. Partnerships that are characterized by a special quality and intensity of cooperation with a broad impact on the university contribute to this.
