Institute for Higher Education Didactics: The central academic institution for teaching and studying

The Institute for Higher Education Didactics is a central scientific institution of the Fachhochschule Dortmund and bundles existing and new topics of university didactics, which are aimed at students and lecturers alike. In doing so, it is guided by the values of the teaching mission statement.

The goal: to improve the quality of teaching and studying

The primary goal of the Institute for Higher Education Didactics is to further develop, secure and improve the quality of teaching and studies in a future-oriented manner. By bundling various areas of expertise under one roof, topics and content are linked with technologies and didactic methods.

With its three departments Innovative Teaching, ILIAS Competence Center and Department for Study Support Services, the Institute for Higher Education Didactics offers lecturers and students information, further training and counseling on various topics relating to teaching and studying.

Apprenticeship Day

With this event, we want to offer researchers, lecturers, students and external experts the opportunity to exchange views on current challenges and innovative approaches in higher education.
