Sustainability is a joint task for the universities. The sustainability offices receive indispensable support from the expertise and commitment of the faculties and central administration.

With the sustainability award "Impact Cup", the cooperating sustainability offices of Fachhochschule Dortmund and TU Dortmund University thank those institutions, departments or individuals who are particularly committed to the topic of sustainability.

From 2024, the "Impact Cup" will be awarded once a year during the Sustainability Week as part of a casual get-together to which all members of the universities are cordially invited.

A sign of sustainability

The cup

The trophies were designed by TU trainees from the Technical Product Design department and built with the support of the TU Model Making Workshop: A floating metal watering can above a green (real!) plant symbolizes sustainability, which should grow through shared care and commitment. Regional and sustainably grown wood was used for the production.
