Booking group study rooms in the library

The rooms can be booked via the external tool "anny" (link at the bottom of this page). Please note the following:

• The use of the group rooms is only offered to members of Fachhochschule Dortmund. A Fachhochschule Dortmund e-mail address (...@stud.fh-dortmund.de or ...@fh-dortmund.de) is required for the booking.
• Bookings can be made a maximum of four weeks in advance.
• It is also possible to book a room for the same day after 8 am.
• A group should consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 8 people.
• The rooms can be booked for 2 hours at a time.
• To make a booking, you must state your name, the size of the group and your e-mail address.
• If you would like to use the screen in the room, you must specify this when booking. To do this, you can simply check the box "Book presentation screen". Further information on this can be found further down on this page (section "Using the screens in the group rooms").
• You will receive a confirmation email for each booking. This contains a QR code for check-in and check-out in the library. This is used for clear assignment to the booked room. Check-in and check-out take place at the service desk.
• The person from your group who has booked the room checks in at the service desk when entering the library. There they must check in using the QR code (see above) and receive an orange card with the number of the respective group room and, if necessary, the remote control and instructions for the screen. The room number is also noted on the booking confirmation.
• Please only use the room you have booked and place the card clearly visible on one of the tables. This way it can be quickly recognized that you have made a booking and are in the correct room.
• At the end of your booking period, please vacate the room immediately and without being asked. Return the card and, if applicable, the remote control to the service counter. You must then check out again using the QR code.
• Please only book a room that you really want to use, as rooms that are booked but not used remain empty and are blocked for other users. In the event that you are unable or unwilling to use a booked room, please cancel your booking as early as possible. You will find a link in the confirmation email that you can use to cancel your booking. If you no longer have the booking confirmation, please inform us by e-mail or telephone of your wish to cancel.

A presentation screen is available in every room. You can connect your devices to it. If you would like to use the screen, you must specify this when booking. To do this, you can simply check the box "Add presentation screen" during the booking process.

You will receive the remote control, the connection cables (HDMI to HDMI and HDMI to USB-C) and instructions for connection against a deposit (e.g. ID card, FHCard or similar) at the service desk when you check in. Return the box with the remote control and cables together with the room number card at check-out and you will receive your deposit back.
