Movie "Tomorrow somewhere by the sea" on free TV

Published

Nele, Romy, Julian and Konrad, four fundamentally different teenagers, set off to Portugal in the summer after graduating from high school to find themselves, their own lives and the great freedom after school.

"Morgen irgendwo am Meer", the Master's degree film by FH graduate Patrick Büchting, is currently available in the ARD media library. The award-winning summer road movie with depth tells the story of four teenagers on their journey to Lisbon and to themselves.

The story: They've finally graduated from high school! But before the last summer of youth is over, Konrad wants to go on a trip with Romy, whom he has known since childhood. A road trip to Lisbon. Romy doesn't quite know what to do. Although she has a shared history with Konrad, she would also like to do something with her boyfriend Julian. So the three of them set off together - and pick up fun-loving Nele along the way. As the journey takes all four of them south, they not only learn about friendship and love, but also how important it can be to let go. To start something new.

The 76-minute film was awarded the rating "particularly valuable" by the German Film and Media Rating. In addition to the free TV premiere on July 29, 2025 at 10:55 p.m. on MDR television, the film is already available in the ARD media library until October 20, 2025.
