Who or what do we stand up for?
The NachbarBude is there for everyone in the neighborhood and serves to connect residents and local stakeholders. We build bridges between people who would otherwise only meet at the supermarket checkout and encourage the neighborhood to get involved in their community. We understand individual, everyday needs and provide support in an unbureaucratic and pragmatic way.
How do we do that? How
For four days, we’ll be available in a converted construction trailer on Münsterstraße. We bring together the neighborhood’s diverse social and cultural offerings, raise awareness of them, and invite people to join us (nordtstadtDATE). We’re here to support those seeking advice and connect them with the right resources. Once a week, the neighborhood gathers for the Budencafé, featuring homemade baked goods, coffee, and games for adults and children.
Our BudenFriends (volunteers) help with household and yard repairs, hooking up or disposing of a washing machine or stove, installing shelves and lamps, assembling cabinets—or wherever else a helping hand is needed. Above all, they love to keep you company—and they do so with all their heart.

We're flexible and welcome both regular, committed support and offers of help, as well as occasional assistance when we urgently need you. We're also open to any ideas and skills you'd like to contribute.
