Nowadays, anyone who wants to position themselves in the scientific community by placing publications has many options. However, this diversity makes the topic of publishing increasingly complex. Various aspects must be taken into account on the way to successfully publishing findings from research and teaching. The same applies to making your own publications and other academic activities visible. We won't leave you alone with this!
At "Fachwissen zum Mittag", experts from various institutions and faculties at the University of Applied Sciences (sometimes supported by external speakers) provide an overview of important topics relating to academic publishing.
Each year, six to eight online lectures on MS Teams take place as part of the series, usually lasting 45 minutes (unless otherwise stated). Afterwards, there is an optional opportunity to share your own experiences and ask questions, always starting at 12 noon. The target group is primarily all (junior) researchers at Fachhochschule Dortmund, but external interested parties are also welcome.

We will gradually (always as soon as possible) publish further details. You are welcome to register at any time (see below).
Lectures marked with * refer strongly to offers, applications or regulations that are very specific to Fachhochschule Dortmund. These events are therefore less suitable for external participants.

All registered persons will receive Webex invitations to all lectures by e-mail and additionally a reminder on the day of the event. In addition, we only send further e-mails with important information in very rare cases. You are not registering for the events via this registration form, but are expressing your interest in the series and the access data for the lectures. This is also possible at any time after the start of the series.
If at any time you are no longer interested in receiving invitations and information about the lecture series, please contact us (see contact details below). We will then remove you from the mailing list.
To make it easier to plan, we ask you to confirm or cancel your attendance at the Webex meetings.
