Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts is turning its employees into protagonists: With the video series "What does ... actually do?", it provides exciting insights into the everyday working life of employees at Fachhochschule Dortmund.
In short portraits, Perspective Management and HR Marketing at the UAS introduce employees from a wide range of areas and show how diverse the work at the university is. The series runs on Fachhochschule Dortmund's social media channels - especially Instagram and LinkedIn - and can be found on this page.
Whether Prof. Dr. Tamara Appel, Rector of Fachhochschule Dortmund, Tatjana Beckmann as Office Manager at the Faculty of Computer Science, Eva Schameitat from the library, Martin Wossning from the wood and metal workshop of the Faculty of Architecture or Floria Morina from the General Student Advisory Service - "What does ... actually do?" is an example of the diversity in a large team. The series makes it clear that committed people with very different tasks, skills and experiences work at Fachhochschule Dortmund.
"With this series, we want to show the faces behind the functions and make the diversity of our working world tangible," says Nele Drescher, a member of the Perspective Management team. "The videos stand for appreciation and transparency - and are also intended to convey to the outside world how attractive and lively Fachhochschule Dortmund is as an employer," adds Stefanie Kerle from HR Marketing.
