This year, the Konrad Klepping Vocational College once again hosted its traditional ERP workshop day at the Faculty of Computer Science. Enterprise Resource Planning with Microsoft Dynamics™ 365 BC was the title of the latest workshop.
In line with our motto "Don't just listen, do it", 15 pupils from Konrad-Klepping-Berufskolleg slipped back into the role of students for a day.
After a lecture-style introduction to the important topic of ERP in business informatics, the students got to know the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics™ 365 BC as part of an internship. First, the value chain for a manufacturing company was developed together. The actual production process was then simulated in a small workshop and the process flow was analyzed and optimized. They then went on to the computers, where they had to carry out a complete case study (sales processing) in Microsoft Dynamics™ 365 BC. The students were supervised by Prof. Martin Hesseler.
The participants worked with commitment and left the faculty with many important new impressions.
