Fachhochschule Dortmund has been supporting internationalization efforts at the university's faculties and institutions since 2013. The aim is to establish long-term contacts and collaborations through targeted start-up funding.
"It is important that we continue to develop our international skills on the student side, but also on the teaching staff side," explained Dr Angela an der Heiden, Managing Director of the Institute for Higher Education Didactics at Fachhochschule Dortmund, at the anniversary celebration of the internationalization funding on 3 November 2023 at the Dortmunder Arbeitsschutzausstellung (DASA).
The International Office and the Vice-Rectorate for Communication and Internationalization took the anniversary celebration as an opportunity to spend an afternoon looking back on successful project developments. The main aim was to put selected projects in the spotlight, exchange practical tips and lessons learned and, in particular, give new people at the university the opportunity to network.
