Once Fachhochschule Dortmund - always Fachhochschule Dortmund: almost 50 former members of the university attended this year's alumni reunion at Hotel Drees.
Prof. Dr. Franz Vogler, Vice-Rector for Sustainability and Digitalization, welcomed the guests to the joint afternoon and presented an up-to-date overview of developments at the university. The focus was on topics such as the digital transformation of teaching, the expansion of sustainable campus structures and increased cooperation with regional partners. The Vice-Rector also emphasized how important the commitment of former university members remains for the exchange of knowledge and experience. They are all ambassadors for Fachhochschule Dortmund in the economy, science and society.
Afterwards, there was plenty of time for discussions. Many alumni took the opportunity to reminisce together and learn new things about the university. With its classic ambience, the Hotel Drees once again provided the perfect setting for the results. "It's great to see how much interest there is and how close the connection between many alumni and Fachhochschule Dortmund still is," summed up the university's organization team. The personal exchange with Prof. Vogler was particularly appreciated, as he continued to answer questions and talk to the guests for a long time after his lecture.
