Photo magazine by design students at the FH

Published

On January 28, the seventh and final issue of the series of booklets on the uses of photography will be published with contributions by Agnes Zimmermann, Anne Braun & Antonia Ivana Pečavar, Annelene Warnecke, David Nils Müller, E. Alejandro De Paoli Padilla, Felix Schmale, Hamon Nasiri Honarvar, Jasper Walter Bastian, Kristina Lenz & Alex Simon Klug, Lioudmila Voropai, Lucrezia Zanardi, Max Pinckers, Oxana Guryanova and Susanne Brügger.

The text and image contributions in issue #7 reflect on the medium's questions of authorship, identity, testimony and authenticity: from analog archives to artificial intelligence. Under the direction of Prof. Susanne Brügger, the magazine conceived by students and lecturers of the Master's degree program in Photography - Photographic Studies at Fachhochschule Dortmund has been published since 2013. The seventh issue now concludes the cahiers series.

In essays, interviews and pictorial works, the magazine examines the uses of the medium of photography from a wide variety of perspectives and aims to stimulate discussion.

On the evening of January 28, 2026, the release event for the seventh issue and the opening of the accompanying exhibition will take place at the fb2 gallery at Fachhochschule Dortmund. Excerpts from the authors' works and books will be presented here. The exhibition will be on display until February 6, 2026, Monday to Friday from 11 am to 3 pm.

On Tuesday, February 3 at 6 pm, a discussion with the authors Lucrezia Zanardi and Hamon Nasiri Honarvar on the questions of authenticity and artificial intelligence will take place in the gallery.
